A little about Pete, the artist whose work you will find on these pages.
Pete has been working wood professionally for over 40 years. He began as a Boatbuilder Apprentice, and became a Joiner, throughout his career he has always maintained a home work shop and delved into most forms of woodwork including carving, intarisa, joinery, boatbuilding, although his love has always been the Wood Lathe.
Pete primarily utilizes Urban woods that would otherwise wind up in a chipper or fireplace. He especially likes to give the wood a chance to mature along with fungi which often adds spice in the form of Spalting to the wood.
Pete and his wife Heather live in Ladner BC.
Pete also enjoys birding, fly fishing and camping with his family especially his four grand children.
